OKANAGAN, BC – Sonia Furstenau, MLA for Cowichan Valley, will tour the Okanagan from March 12-17, holding a series of events in Kelowna, Vernon and Kamloops.
“The Okanagan is home to a vibrant Green membership and I am excited to visit them on my tour,” said Furstenau.
“The BC Green leadership contest is permitting non-members to vote, and I am also looking forward to engaging new supporters. The Okanagan is a fast-growing region and there is much opportunity for the province to better support it through investments in transit and infrastructure, support for the innovative economy, and transitioning to the clean economy as we meet our climate targets. I look forward to hearing the thoughts of residents on the issues that matter most to them.”
